Free Spades Diamond
A round of hand which is being played with one card from each player’s hands is known as tricks in free spades and the trump in these games is the suit which is designated to be considered for higher ranking. Any card in that particular suit would rank better than the other suit.
In Free spades, the highest ranking card of the led suit will win the trick but not if spades trump the trick. If there is going to be more than one trump being played in the trick, then the highest trump will win. In cases, where the spades are not going to be leading the suit, then you can play the spade only if you do not have any other card from the led suit.
In some of the free spades games the diamond 2 is used as an extra trump, which will be ranking between the Ace and the King. An interesting choice is to begin the hand by having all the players put their lowest club for the first trick. The high club in the trick will make the winning and it leads to the next trick; however, when the first trick is being played in this way, the applicable strategies for bidding and playing are a bit different.
