Spades tournament will be organized as a series of rounds where each round will consist of 45 minutes or the time will be decided by the organizers. When it is the end of each round, the teams which have the highest score from each table will be advanced to the next level. And this will continue until the tournament ends and there is a champion selected.

The standard deck of cards will be used for the game and in the most common version of the spades games there will be four players in the game and the partners will be sitting opposite to each other.

The teams will be formed based on a random allotment. In cases, where there is going to be an odd number of teams while organizing the spades tournament, they will be advanced to the next round in which the team which has got the highest score in the first round will be eliminated.

In cases, where there will be an odd number of teams in the next round, the team which has got highest score from the prior round will be left off, which means they will be eliminated.

The dealer will be chosen in random and for the next series of hands the deal will rotate in clockwise direction. The cards will be shuffled, the person to the right of the dealer will be cutting the cards before the dealer makes the dealing of the 13 cards; however, in online spades tournament such things are pre-programmed and the random number generator does the work perfectly.
