Winning And Losing Points In Bids And Nils
Filed Under tipsEssentially spades is a card game. Both of your partners together either make the winning or lose the game. You bid stating the number of tricks you expect to win and your partner also bids his share of the number of tricks he feels he will win. Eventually you will be playing to win the total tricks that are bid by your team putting the opponent leader at disadvantage. This is the theme of all spades strategies in use.
In cases where at the end of the game if the team made the winning then their scores is x 10 the number of bids, they claimed to have won.
In cases where the team will not be making the winning as they claimed then the scores of number of bids the claimed to win x 10 will be subtracted from their scores.
In cases where the individual did not make a bid “nil” then if they do not win, then the team gets 100 points.
In cases where the individual did make a bid “nil” and they did win, then the team gets minus 100 points.
The concepts of blind nil scoring is also similar to nil, but they get plus 200 or minus 200 points accordingly.
At last, each trick which has been more than the number bid by the team is known as a bag. When a team is going to make 10 bags again they will be losing 100 points
